When I met Kristin & John on cold and rainy day in March I asked them, what would your perfect engagement shoot backdrop look like, without much hesitation they both arrived at the same answer, cottage country. You really can’t go wrong with a mixture of sun, warm weather, and the beautiful backdrop of a lake, especially if your cottage happens to face the sunset!
We started the engagement shoot at Couchiching Beach Park, a popular spot in Orillia with both locals and tourists for many reasons, a marina and boat launch, a beach, a board walk, a pier and of course the scenic backdrop of the north end of Lake Simcoe. We then moved on to Kristin and John’s Cottage in Washago, a beautiful spot with a direct view of the sunset, can’t ask for a better end to an engagement shoot.
