Jaime and Matt are one of those couples that you often hear about but often don’t meet, they’re high school sweehearts. They met at St. Stephen's Secondary in Bowmanville, which was a great starting point for their shoot. We then moved on to Port Darlington East Beach Park a part of the Bowmanville waterfront for the second part of our shoot, unfortunately due the amount of rain that’s fallen this summer the lake water levels were at a record high. The high water levels meant that the beach was underwater and we had to improvise and use the greenspace, walkways and the rocks instead. Fortunately for us, the weather cooperated and we witnessed a gorgeous sunset that gave Jaime and Matt’s photos a magical touch. We finished the night off at the port Darlington Marina, again due to the high water levels we opted to stay on high ground and instead used the harbour master’s office for some unique night time shots.
