Downtown Toronto Waterfront Sunrise Engagement | Love Photos | Toronto & Oshawa Wedding Photogra

Most of the engagement shoots that I do take place in the evening because of the Golden Hour, read the article here. Most couples take advantage of the Golden Hour in the evening, but there are those who want their photos done early in the morning - the result is totally worth it. The morning light is different than the evening light and if the goal is to have the sun behind the couple then the morning is the way to go in Toronto. Corinne and Shamell braved the early morning and chilly weather that May brought particularly because of the strong breeze at Colonel Samuel Smith Park.

We chose Colonel Samuel Smith Park because it's directly on the water, has some nice trails and has a beautiful vista of the Toronto skyline. As an added bonus there isn't a photography permit at this location unlike many Toronto parks that face Downtown Toronto.
